Vietnam is up with its annual travel mart for the 10th time, which will be held in Hanoi this year. 13th April - Plastic Waste Reduction in Tourism

A seminar on reducing plastic waste in tourism will focus on promoting sustainable tourism. The Vietnam Tourism Association with its partners will introduce a project plan and the United Nations Development Programme and the GEF Foundation will fund it.

14th April - The forum Development of Vietnam’s Cultural Tourism

The forum will attract several representatives from -

The Vietnam International Travel Mart 2023 will also host meetings for Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C). The much-awaited event was announced with Vu The Binh, the Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association saying that this year’s event aims to encourage travel firms to invest in developing new tourism products through making the most of unique traditional culture and culture heritage values of Vietnam. He further emphasized that the difference in culture, customs, production activities, and daily life of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam is always attractive to domestic and international tourists. With this, he expressed his hope that VITM 2023 will help bring tourism into an important part of the cultural industry, thus contributing to preserving the value of Vietnamese cultural heritage. The Chairman opines that the travel expo encourages businesses to come up with new tourism products. And that too in accordance with the unique Vietnamese values of the modern and traditional culture. The nation’s cultural heritage is at its core.
